We currently offer data analysis services for Affymetrix GeneChip® arrays. While we prefer either 1) .CEL and .TXT files or 2) .CAB files, TXT files alone are also acceptable but cannot be normalized for probe-pair anomalies. Please do not hesitate to contact us regarding your experimental designs and other specific questions about our services. The process of our service is briefly described below:
Prior to submission of your data, please contact us regarding your data format and the size of your data set (see "submission"). We will provide you with a cost estimate and a date of completion. Upon receiving of your files, we will conduct a statistical analysis and generate the following report files:
- An Affymetrix annotation table, including gene title, gene symbol, public database references, gene ontology descriptions...etc, for your GeneChip®.
- A full list of gene annotations including normalized expression values for all genes ranked by significance (based on p-values) and probabilities for differential expression based on experiment-wide global false positive and negative levels.
- Array measurements correlation analyses
- A list of differentially expressed genes based on significance and fold changes
The results of these statistical analyses will be sent to you via email. This will be followed by a consultation with one of our specialists to assist you with interpretations of your results and selection of genes differentially expressed with confidence levels worthy of further analysis. These top-ranked genes will be categorized according to gene ontology terms and be analyzed by chromosome location. The report files of these analyses are listed in the next page:
