In general, commonly used normalization algorithms perform better on transformation of medium to high-intensity signals but not on low-intensity signals. The result of signal normalization often obscures subtle changes of low-expressed transcripts in your experiments. We understand this problem you could face when studying low-expressed transcripts. Thus, upon your request, we can conduct a special analysis in which we evaluate significance of subtle fold changes.

Our service is not limited to the standard procedures listed above. If you have a multiple sample (other than two conditions: experiment vs. control) or time-course experimental data, the analyses (especially, statistical analysis) will be slightly different. Please contact us for details of these analyses.

Other services upon request:
  • Customized analysis using public open-source softwares
  • Lists of client-specified genes based on intensity of signals, fold changes, p-values, annotations, homologues...etc.
  • A list of Affymetrix probe sequence regions for RT-PCR primer design
  • Other special requests

Our turnover time is usually two weeks, excluding the time that a client spends on choosing the top-ranked genes. When all requested array analyses are completed, the report files will be created on a CD, which will be enclosed in a jewel case and mailed to you via FedEx.
